Lenovo t450s m 2 slots

Apr 06, 2015 · after some looking around i found it underneath a metal cover that was under the internal battery. it looks like a custom. Decided to leave it in place. there are two m.2 slots next to the 2.5"disk bay. one has the wifi card and is very short in length. the other is the "third m.2 slot" and looks like it would support a 42mm long m.2 card.

You can only replace or make use of the mSATA port with a mSATA SSD chip and use that as a boot drive and keep the regular 2.5" HDD for storage, or a cheaper alternative is just to replace the 2.5" HDD drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

Was looking around, trying to decide between the new Haswell equipped Lenovo ThinkPad T450 and T450s, and seem to have found enough information regarding the presence of m.2 slots (they should be there whether occupied in the configurator or not).
